In April, the School hosted a four day Intensive Training Session (ITS) for Level 3 & Invitee female students. Students participated in a comprehensive timetable incorporating daily classical classes alongside pointe, creative, conditioning, character, contemporary, psychology lessons.

The School has also recently held Open Masterclasses in Sydney (5 May) and Open Masterclasses, ITP & Invitee Specialised Coaching and Conditioning Classes in Brisbane (19 May). Level 4 & 6 Artistic Teacher Jiayin Du, and ABS Graduate/current Teacher’s Course participant, Natalie Clarke taught this year’s Sydney classes whilst Joanne Michel, Irina Konstantinova, Sergey Konstantinov, Katrina Edwards and Director, Lisa Pavane travelled to Brisbane.

In June, the School commences our National Audition Tour in Launceston (2 June) and Canberra (23 June) and we will also offer Open Masterclasses at both venues. In Launceston, students will have the chance to take classes with Irina Konstantinova whilst Lynette Wills and Andrew Murphy, who both grew up in Canberra, will return to teach classes in their childhood hometown.
