The Australian Ballet School's Midweek Matinee 2026 at The Round, Nunawading showcased students from Levels 4 to 7 in a diverse program that celebrated the breadth of training across the School. From foundational classwork to classical ballet, character dance and contemporary repertoire, the performance highlighted the artistry, discipline and versatility of our students.
The program opened with a Class Presentation featuring students from Levels 4, 5, 6 and 7, accompanied by live piano by Waldemar Lis, who has been a pianist with the School for over 30 years! The presentation offered audiences an insight into the technical foundations and daily training that underpin a dancer’s development.
For some of our newer students, this was their first performance as full-time Australian Ballet School students, an exciting milestone in their training journey. A huge thank you to our students, teachers, and the audiences who cheered us on. We loved every moment.
