The Australian Ballet School Teacher Training Program is designed for dance teachers, aspiring educators and professional dancers transitioning into teaching.
Developed by Australia's national ballet training institution, the program combines ballet pedagogy with contemporary educational practice to prepare confident, knowledgeable and student-centred teachers who can make a meaningful impact in the studio and beyond.

Meet the Program Lead
Mark Annear: Senior Dance Education Consultant
Mark Annear is a highly experienced ballet educator, bringing more than two decades of experience across teaching, leadership, curriculum design and choreography.
His career has spanned some of the world's leading dance institutions, including The Royal Ballet School, The Australian Ballet School and WAAPA. Following 14 years in London, Mark has returned to Melbourne with a passion for advancing dance education and supporting the next generation of teachers.
As Senior Dance Education Consultant, Mark leads the development of the Teacher Training Program, drawing on extensive experience in ballet pedagogy, educator development and professional training. His work is grounded in a belief that outstanding dance education combines artistic excellence with a deep understanding of how students learn, grow and thrive.
