Early Learning & Children's Classes

The Australian Ballet School's Early Learning Classes are a great way for kinder and primary school-aged children of all genders to take their first steps into classical dance and experience the magic of dance and music. These classes provide a fun and informative introduction to dance and aim to instil a love of movement. 

Classes are taught by specially trained teachers in the beautiful studios of The Australian Ballet School and feature live piano accompaniment. 

No audition is required to access these classes, which are structured for enjoyment, not around ballet grades, formal exams or performances.

Enrolments are based on a child's current primary school year level.

Venue

The Australian Ballet School, 2 Kavanagh Street, Southbank 3006

ABS staff members greet each class and escort participants into the School's studios. Parents/Carers are not permitted into the studio area.
