Our mission at the Australian Ballet School is to prepare young people for a professional career in dance and we have been doing so for over 60 years. Our graduates fill the ranks of dance companies with the highest international standards, and we are proud to have played a part in their success.

Our approach to developing young dancers is holistic – we provide world-class dance training, but we also focus on students’ educational needs and their physical and emotional care in an environment that nurtures creativity, resilience, and connection. We believe that this approach not only prepares our students for a successful career in dance but also for life.
