Meet Jade Dibley

Meet Jade Dibley, Level 8 student and School Captain!

Born and raised on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Jade began dancing at the age of three. Her love for dance was nurtured across a range of styles, including jazz, tap, and ballet. At just 14, after successfully auditioning for The Australian Ballet School, she relocated to Melbourne to commence full-time training.

Since joining the school, Jade has performed a diverse repertoire, including works by Simon Dow, Paul Knobloch, Stephen Baynes, and Prue Lang. Most recently, she has enjoyed collaborating with Lucas Jervies while working on Concerto Anniversary and Fight or Flight. Jade is drawn to the clarity and discipline that dance demands and values the sense of freedom she experiences through movement.

She was recently honoured with the opportunity to be seconded to The Australian Ballet for their Signature Works season, performing in La Bayadère and is looking forward to The Australian Ballet’s upcoming National Tour. Jade is also proud to be the inaugural recipient of The Rudolf Nureyev Foundation Scholarship. During her time at the school, she has received the Berezowsky-Howard Award for Excellence in Character Dance, as well as the Encouragement Award in Levels 5 and 6.

Outside the studio, Jade finds joy in spending time with family and friends, going camping and watching a good film.
