Sarah Hunt has more than 30 years of experience leading teams and driving operational excellence in the creative industries across Australia and the UK. She has a strong track record in leading through change, achieving revenue growth, enhancing customer experience, and optimising performance. Her expertise spans executive leadership, marketing, communications, philanthropy, innovation, and audience engagement.  

Since graduating from the University of London, Sarah has worked consistently in the live performing arts sector. She spent over a decade in London before relocating to Australia in 2013, where she has held senior leadership roles at Arts Centre Melbourne, Adelaide Festival Centre, and Bangarra Dance Theatre.   

From 2020 Sarah held the role of Chief Executive Officer of The National in Melbourne, overseeing an 800-seat theatre and a Registered Training Organisation that included The National Drama School and The National Ballet School.  

In July 2025, Sarah commenced as Executive Director of The Australian Ballet School.
