National Audition Tour - Canberra 2019

The National Audition Tour is conducted during June – August each year, visiting major cities around Australia. Students audition in 2019 for intake in 2020.
The audition consists of a modified class and a physical assessment. The class is specially structured to assess a range of criteria including coordination, musicality and physical suitability for the demands of The Australian Ballet School's various programmes.
No special preparation is required for the audition class.

Select the desired audition option from the drop-down menu at right and click Register to fill in your application and pay the fee. By clicking Register, you agree to the School's Terms & Conditions. - Submit Photos
You will be sent an email with instructions on uploading the required photos after your payment is confirmed.

COSTS
AUDITION OPTIONS
Students may choose to audition for any one or more of the below Training Programmes, provided they meet the age criteria for each one.
Only one audition enrolment is required per child, e.g. a 13-year-old need only apply for the 'ITP or FTP' audition option to be considered for either programme.
Age at 30 June 2019: 13 to 18 years
After School Programme (ASP) (Melbourne-based)
Age at 30 June 2019: 8 to 13 years
PHOTO REQUIREMENTS
- Please prepare your photos before beginning your application.
- Photos must be submitted on the same day as the online application is made. Failure to do so may invalidate the application.
- Photos do not need to be shot by a professional photographer. Photos shot on a phone are fine.
- However, they must be of sufficient size and quality to be printed on half an A4 sheet of paper, clearly showing the auditionee in the required stances listed below.
- Required photos:
- Full-length facing side in profile to the camera with feet in parallel 1st. Example Photo
