The Australian Ballet School Up Close welcomes you to a year of exciting activities for dance students, dance industry professionals, and the community. Up Close brings together popular programmes such as Open Masterclasses, Summer School and more, extending the opportunities for you to join us and experience the world class training of The Australian Ballet School.
The Open Masterclasses and our annual Summer School programmes offer students fun and informative workshops with specialist teachers from the School, The Australian Ballet, and the dance community. Skills Sharing provides dance teachers and other practitioners with professional development activities and workshops in a collaborative atmosphere. Our annual Public Access Day is always a special event on the School’s calendar and provides everyone with a chance to see the students training in the state of the art facilities of The Primrose Potter Australian Ballet Centre in Melbourne. And this year we welcome back Health and Welfare Day, an interactive morning at the School which will provide insight into psychology, specialist coaching, kinetic education and other allied health/dance components.
We are very pleased to be able to provide access to these events across Australia and we look forward to having you join us throughout the year.
