The Australian Ballet School is an autonomous, not-for-profit organisation that auditions and accepts students from all over urban and rural Australia and overseas based solely on talent and artistic potential, regardless of their financial circumstances.
The School currently receives 34% of its income from the Federal Government. The remainder is raised through fees, philanthropic support and performances. Fees are kept to a minimum to ensure that no student is disadvantaged due to financial circumstances so they do not cover the full costs associated with training.
All philanthropic support is gratefully received under the banner of The Giving Circle and donations can be made at any level. Support from private individuals, corporate organisations, and trusts and foundations all contribute toward supporting our students. We hope you will consider becoming involved by joining The Giving Circle today.
Donations can be made to a variety of areas needing support including scholarships, bursaries, training programme, student health and welfare, end of year performance, costume fund to name a few and are most welcomed. Capital amounts can be made to establish a perpetual scholarship or award and Bequests are always gratefully received. If you would like to discuss leaving a gift in your Will or any other gift to the School, please do not hesitate to contact us. Donations to The Australian Ballet School are tax deductible.

The Australian Ballet School is a charitable institution and endorsed as a deductible gift recipient
under sub-division 30-BA of the Tax Assessment Act 1997. The School is eligible to receive gifts
